We try to work in a resource-saving and efficient way to keep our ecological footprint as low as possible.
When purchasing and exchanging new machines, great importance is attached to ensuring that the devices operate with low consumption and energy efficiency. Parts of our vehicle fleet have already been converted to e-mobility.
We heat our plants sustainably and use manufacturing waste products, for example.
An opportunity for sustainable heating has also been created for our region around our plants. A large district heating network supplies part of the municipality of Eben and in Mandling, 22,000 liters of oil were saved per year through the use of chip heating. By investing in a power generation plant, we can supply the timber industry with green electricity.
