Lower Power Consumption With Wood Frame Construction
Wood Frame constructions are being used more and more often both when renovating and when adding on.
This form of construction is used to build contemporary buildings with extremely low heating costs, ideal room climates and a comfortable living atmosphere. This low-energy house in Scharnstein, Austria using wood frame construction was built in 2005.
The Rema façade made of smooth-edge spruce with a cover strip was installed on both levels to create a continuous optical flow.
The surface treatment, in this case a light brown glaze, gives the object an individual note and gives the wood ideal protection against all the elements.
