Rema as one stop shop for nostalgic wood products
The almwelt Austria, located in Pichl bei Schladming, is the most recent example for an architecture that respects ecologic issues as well as traditional customs.
The alpine village Almwelt Austria consists of 13 chalets in 4 different sizes and the hotel "Jagdhaus" with 12 cosy rooms, which are connected to the local restaurant "Schnepf'n Alm". The alpine village at the Reiteralm is characterized by its outstanding and great location.
Rema is the specialist and one-stop-shop for nostalgic wood products. Concerning the Almwelt Austria construction project, Rema acted as an important subcontractor for semi-finished wooden products. The challenge in this project was to give all the buildings a character, which is typical for the region of Pichl bei Schladming. Rema supplied door frames, door blanks, trimmed timber and 3-ply wood panels to the performing carpenter, Firma Hohenwallner from Forstau - all of them as nostalgic wood products.
