Rema reclaimed wood boards are manufactered from the wood of 200-year-old farmhouses and barns. This gives it a unique character: One can almost feel the history already experienced by the raw material. And this sense is also imparted by the board which we manufacture from this special material with utmost care. Consequently every piece of furniture made from this material will ultimately have its own unique character.
Rema aged spruce boards also have this touch of the special. We make them from steamed wood.
This purely natural treatment gives the wood a brown colouring throughout, optimally emphasising the character of an antique piece of furniture. The user saves expensive surface treatments and the use of chemicals such as stains or paint varnishes can be avoided.
